Defender for Cloud Apps
Information work has shifted to cloud services, and end-users are now dispersed – and it’s undeniable that it’s increasingly difficult for the corporate environment to manage which various internet services end-users are utilizing. End-users are also technically savvy nowadays, and if the organization’s IT administration policy is not appealing, new alternatives for performing work may be proactively sought, often leading to “shadow IT.” Is it, however, right that company data ends up in countless different cloud services, whose data protection practices are not always guaranteed? An example of this is today’s ever-expanding portfolio of various AI tools!
When different security technologies seamlessly integrate, unprecedented benefits are gained in terms of IT environment security and data protection. A good example of this is Microsoft’s Defender for Cloud Apps, which, when integrated with Defender endpoint protection, helps IT administration manage even the utilization of various cloud services from end-users’ workstations.
