How to manage Azure cloud costs and security?
The state of the world and the economically unstable operating environment put pressure on all organizations to review their cost structure. The general trend seems to be investing in getting one’s own house in order. Cost-saving pressures also affect IT environments, and one area that easily becomes costly are public cloud services and their resourcing.
For example, in the Azure cloud, organizations typically work with several different partners, and the application provider doesn’t always consider the solution they provide in terms of resource costs – let alone always remember to consider security at a sufficient level. The main responsibility for these ultimately always lies with the IT management itself.
