Above IT Oy has, through an agreement signed on 26 June 2026, acquired the IT support services business of Keh\u00e4tieto Oy, a software company serving the association sector. The transaction will transfer approximately 20 support customers and one employee to Above IT as of 1 August 2026. Keh\u00e4tieto develops and delivers the Kilta member register for associations and unions. IT support services have been an additional service for some customers alongside the Kilta member register. Going forward, the company will focus exclusively on the Kilta member register and the services provided around it. <\/p>

“IT support services have been a necessary addition for our customers, but they are not our core business. After the transaction, we can focus entirely on the Kilta member register, and support customers will gain a partner for whom IT services business is the main focus,” says Jari Sauvonsaari, CEO of Keh\u00e4tieto Oy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Customer relationships will transfer in the business acquisition as they currently are to Above IT’s service portfolio. Mihail Petrik, who has worked in Keh\u00e4tieto’s support services, will transfer to Above IT’s employment as an existing employee and will continue supporting the same customers and developing their environments. <\/p>

Above IT’s CEO Juha Kari is also already familiar with the customer base. He worked at Keh\u00e4tieto for over ten years, leading Keh\u00e4tieto’s IT support team as IT Development Manager. <\/p>

“I know most of these customers and their environments. We are not starting from scratch, but continuing from where we left off. End-user support is provided by the group’s sister company Below IT Oy. Above IT Oy delivers Microsoft licenses and managed cloud services, on top of which customer environments are maintained and developed. <\/p>

Above IT Oy is an Espoo-based Microsoft partner with four Microsoft Solution Partner designations: Modern Work, Security, Azure Infrastructure, and Azure Data & AI. Will services be interrupted during the transition?<\/strong> No. This is a business acquisition in which agreements, licenses, and services continue as they are. <\/p>
